Yashin

Yashin are Scottish post-hardcore band formed in Greenock, near Glasgow in 2006.

The band was founded by school friends guitarist Paul Travers and bassist Andrew McShane in Greenock, near Glasgow. They recruited vocalist Michael Rice and drummer David Beaton who introduced them to guitarist Lewis Millen.The band named themselves Yashin after the football player, Lev Yashin.

Yashin quickly built up a large national following and released two EPs in 2008 Pay to Play and Miles Away But Getting Closer. Original vocalist Michael Rice announced his decision to leave the band in October 2008.

After a brief audition process the band chose to replace Michael with not one but two vocalists. American born clean vocalist, Harry Radford and Glaswegian screamer, Kevin Miles. The new line up embarked on a nine date UK tour in April 2009 supporting Madina Lake and The Audition, they continued to tour for most of the year in the UK and Europe before commencing recording their debut album Put Your Hands Where I Can See Them, with Romesh Dodangoda at Long Wave Studios in November 2009. The band played their biggest headline show to date by selling out The Garage in their hometown of Glasgow.

Yashin released their debut album, Put Your Hands Where I Can See Them on February 1, 2010, which included a cover of "Everytime" by Britney Spears. In March 2010, the band headed out on tour supporting Glamour of the Kill. The band undertook a twenty one date headline tour in September 2010. In December 2010 the band toured the UK supporting Emarosa, and on January 31, 2011, the band had the chance to open for A Day to Remember while playing the O₂ Academy in Glasgow, as part of their European tour.

In March 2011, the band toured the UK in support of The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and headlined the Scottish dates of this tour.

On July 16–17, 2011, the band supported Papa Roach on two intimate shows in London's O₂ Shepherds Bush Empire and Sheffield's O₂ Academy, the band's only two appearances in the UK for 2011.

The band then went onto to support Korn in Glasgow's O2 Academy on the 8th of June 2011 and play the Download Festival on the 12th and Nova Rock Festival in Austria on the 13th of June. The band then supported Black Veil Brides during their european tour in autumn, 2011, with My Passion. The band supported The Blackout on the 16th December, for their first show in Liverpool of their 'Christmas Hope Tour.' The band did not do any other dates of the tour.

The band is set to do a 13 Date tour in March 2012 named 'The Last One Standing Tour' featuring support from Jody Has A Hitlist, With One Last Breath and Tantrum To Blind.

On the 27th of February the band announced that their new single "New Year or New York" would be released as a digital download single on Monday the 5th of March and also a limited edition signed CD. They also announced a new version of their debut album Put Your Hands Where I Can See Them called "Put Your Hands Where I Can See Them Revolution" which includes songs from their second EP Miles Away But Getting Closer re-recorded with vocalists Harry and Kevin in the style they have been performing on stage for the last 3 years. To those who pre-ordered the new single a link is activated which allows them to view the new music video for "New Year or New York".

miarę ciepło by można było gdzieś w plenerze grać), teksty można przynieść

samemu, bądź zagwarantuję ja :)

- Akcja pt: Fani dla BVB; która będzie polegała na krótkim

zaprezentowaniusiebie przed kamerą :) I na końcu można zrobić akcję

literkową, czyli każdy wykonuję literkę ze zwrotu BVB ARMY POLAND lub

POLAND LOVES BLACK VEIL BRIDES. A ja sklecę z tego jakiś fajny filmik dla naszych chłopców. ( plakaty i literki możemy wziąć potem na koncert ;P) lub robimy plakaty ( na miejscu bądź w domu), które również umieścimy w filmiku ;)
- Konkurs na najlepszy warpaint! Zrobiony na miejscu, bądź w domu, to już od Was zależy :) Nagrodami będą naklejki z BVB bądź jedna z koszulek, które mam nadzieję, będą już gotowe w tym czasie. ( lub po prostu wyróżnię Was w filmiku dla BVB ;P)
- Quiz wiedzy o BVB? - jak dobrze znacie naszych chłopaków- nagrodami w tym konkursie będą drobne upominki związane z BVB.
Co trzeba mieć na zlocie ? - jakieś pieniążki oczywiście na ewentualną kawę/herbatę/obiad, na bilet do domu :P i ewentualnie na jakieś wejścia gdzieś. ( czyli około 35zł myślę spokojnie wystarczy ;P no może trochę więcej ;P), dobry humor i chęć poznania innych fanów BVB, dobrze by było jakbyście zabrali ze sobą jakieś sprzęty do makijażu typu eyeliner, jakieś farbki czy kredkę i jakieś lusterko ;D
Każdy fan, który pojawi się na zlocie dostanie ode mnie mały zestaw gadżetów z BVB :) Nie spodziewajcie się nie wiadomo czego :) Będą to naklejki bądź jakieś ulotki dotyczące BVB :) z adresem naszego forum itp. lub jakąś koszulkę, ale tego nie gwarantuje bo budżet skromny ;) Tak z grubsza wygląda plan. Jak ktoś ma jakieś propozycje, pytania i sugestie, bardzo proszę się nimi ze mną podzielić :)
